GEM LAB DIRECTORY QUESTIONNAIRE
The Gemstones and Sustainable Development Knowledge Hub aims to facilitate learning across the full supply chain of colored gemstones from mines to markets, and improve the sector's contributions to sustainable development. The hub is a collaboration between the University of Delaware (USA), the University of Queensland (Australia), and the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), supported by the Tiffany & Co. Foundation.
The aim of this Questionnaire is to bring together information on gemstone labs worldwide, and to form an independent lab directory that will be publicly available (similar to ICA's past Lab Directory). The list will be useful to people looking for labs in specific countries. Gem labs play an important role in transparency in the trade (e.g. offering treatment detection services) and should thus be highlighted for their research and educational activities. The aim is not grade labs but to make this a purely informational directory, which highlights the work and activities both of small and large gem labs worldwide.
Thank you for taking this questionnaire, which can be found below.
